NEWSLETTER 24TH JULY 2025S LAUNCHED!
A MESSAGE FROM MS PAULSON
Dear families, It’s hard to believe this is the last newsletter of this academic year! We have achieved so much together – we have happy children who work extremely hard, who are polite and respectful of others, and enjoy their learning. We are incredibly proud of them and I feel very lucky indeed to be the head teacher of such a wonderful school! Thank you too for all your support throughout the year; for your contributions, time and kind words. It really does mean a lot to us all. I know just how hard the staff team work to ensure that every child has the best possible school experience. They are an amazing group of people who truly care and I thank them whole heartedly for their dedication and ability to inspire and nurture the young people in their care.
We say good-bye to our Year 6 children today. We had an emotional assembly this morning and it was a joy to see them ready to take their next steps as confident, creative, respectful and committed life long learners. We wish them all the very best!
Thank you also to all the families we bid farewell to. Your support has been invaluable and you will always be welcome at Haydn.
We look forward to seeing you in September and welcoming new families to our school community. We re-open for children on Wednesday 3rd September. Have a wonderful summer all!
A MESSAGE FROM MR GRIMSHAW
A massive thank you to everybody for making G-Day such a success. It was lovely to see the creativity around the letter G! We raised £377.42 which will go towards my fundraising for ‘Jerry Green Dog Rescue’ while I complete the London Marathon! If you would like to keep a track of my progress or make any online donations please use the link below. Thank you as always for being such a supportive community!

A MESSAGE FROM ‘MUMS FOR LUNGS’
The Parking Buddies have gone away for the summer, but they assure us they will be back next year. A big thank you to everyone who helped them to make the roads round school safer and less polluted for the kids.
Haydn’s ‘Mums for Lungs’ group have been working with Ms Paulson and have lots of ideas to help out next year. If you want to get involved, contact the school office and they’ll put you in touch.
Until then thanks again and have a great summer.
HAYDN’S SCHOOL ROCK SNAKE
Inspired by Sherwood Art Week, children are invited to bring in painted rocks from home, after the summer break, to add to our school rock snake who has taken up residence in the forest school garden. Get creative and let's see how long we can make him!
